Regionomics® focuses on economic development strategy and local economies – their industries, people, workforce, growth and change. We understand the relationship between economic development and workforce development and know that neither can succeed without the other.
Regionomics was founded by Bill LaFayette, Ph.D. in 2011.

Media Relations
Dr. Bill LaFayette has more than 25 years of experience working with local and national print and broadcast media to help their audience understand complex economic concepts. During his time at the Columbus Chamber of Commerce (1999-2011), he served as the Chamber’s primary spokesperson for economic issues. He is still frequently called upon to provide insights and commentary for news stories.
Part of Bill’s service offering is working with clients to help them develop messages to publicize study results and insights or speak with media on the client’s behalf as desired.
